Thank you for using Bloom Makeup Artistry’s services. We would like you to please read all our terms and conditions so that you are fully aware of our rights when booking your makeup services.
Once quote has been accepted via payment of your retainer fee you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
All contracts/dealings between Bloom Makeup Artistry (ABN 83 766 846276) and any person (‘Customer’) relating to any goods or services provided and supplied by Bloom Makeup Artistry to the Customer are subject to the terms and conditions of trade set out below (‘these Terms’). By agreeing to accept a bridal quote or making a booking via Facebook/Instagram/ or www.bloomcq.com (“the Website”), the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms. Bloom Makeup Artistry has the right to remove or vary these Terms at any time without notice. It is the Customer’s responsibility to be aware of any changes made to these Terms and by continuing to use and visit the Website the Customer agrees to be governed by these Terms and Conditions. Bloom Makeup Artistry reserves the right to withdraw the Services without notice and will NOT be liable (if for any reason) the Website is unavailable during any period.

INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM CUSTOMERS - In order to provide better service to our valued customers, Bloom Makeup Artistry may request personal details such as your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address. If you choose to withhold requested personal information, Bloom Makeup Artistry may not be able to provide you with the customer service you require should that depend on the collection of that information, particularly if the collection of that information is required by law.
Bloom Makeup Artistry will not sell or disclose the Customers personal information/details to any third party without the customers consent unless in the purpose of purchase/deposit/delivery or if necessary to comply with laws, investigations or legal proceedings. For transaction security for debit and credit card payments, Bloom Makeup Artistry uses ‘Square’.
PROPERTY All content made available to the customer via the Bloom Makeup Artistry Website is property of Bloom Makeup Artistry. The customer can view, download, copy and/or print the images accessible on the Bloom Makeup Artistry Website for personal use only and may NOT be altered in anyway. The customer is not permitted to alter or re-produce the images on the Bloom Makeup Artistry Website in any manner without permission from Bloom Makeup Artistry. The customer may NOT remove any trademarks made by Bloom Makeup Artistry on any images, campaigns or marketing materials.
PAYMENT OPTIONS Bloom Makeup Artistry accepts Cash, Mastercard, Visa and Direct Debit. (Eftpos Facilities Available) All prices are in Australian Dollars and do not include GST. Invoices are sent to your desired email address once booking is confirmed and can be paid online. Please note penalty rates will be applied for Sunday bookings.

RETAINER FEE A retainer fee for any service or lesson with Bloom Makeup Artistry and team is non-refundable or transferable and is required when any makeup booking or enrolment is requested. For your appointment to be confirmed and the date held, your retainer fee must be placed. An invoice will be sent out to your desired email address with the option of paying your retainer fee via bank transfer. Once your retainer has been processed, a second invoice will be sent with your remaining balance owing. All Weddings must be paid in full four weeks prior to your day of service. Wedding booking cancellations four weeks or less from your booking date the customer will forfeit all payments. PLEASE NOTE: A 48-hour late notice cancellation fee of $50.00 applies to all customers who book with Bloom Makeup Artistry.
HYGIENE Bloom Makeup Artisty and its sub-contractors and affiliates take hygiene matters very seriously. Bloom Makeup Artistry brushes and kit are always cleaned and sanitised to a high, professional standard. Where a job requires multiple people to be done in one session, brushes are sanitised between each person, or a new set is used. You are required to notify Bloom Makeup Artistry of any allergies, sensitivities or skin conditions you or anyone else in your party have that may affect the makeup application. In no circumstance shall Bloom Makeup Artistry have any liability for incidental, or consequential damages however characterised, for example eczema, sensitive skin and eyes. If you are sick or contagious on the day of your trial/wedding/event you will notify Bloom Makeup Artistry so that proper precautions can be taken. You are obligated to inform Bloom Makeup Artistry if you or anyone in your party has any contagious illness or condition. This includes but is not limited to conjunctivitis, cold sores, flu, measles, mumps, chicken pox, shingles, open cuts/sores, ringworm/fungal infections. Advising us of these conditions allows us to take all necessary measures to protect our own health and that of our other customers. If I am sick or contagious on the day of your trial, then I contact you to reschedule to prevent you from getting sick. Should I happen to be sick on the day of your wedding/event then I will take all necessary precautions to prevent transfer of illness (mask/gloves etc). In the unlikely event that I am extremely sick, hospitalised or unable to work on your wedding/event due to extreme, unforeseen circumstances, every effort will be made for another artist with an equivalent skill level to attend.
OPENING HOURS Bloom Makeup Artistry is a freelance business and hours vary week to week depending on bookings. A surcharge of 10% will incur if booking is earlier than 6:30am or later than 6:00pm on any day and penalty rates will also apply on Sundays.
The following days are an exception: Good Friday – CLOSED Easter Sunday – CLOSED Christmas Day – CLOSED New Years Eve – CLOSED New Years Day – CLOSED
Bloom Makeup Artistry will inform you via Instagram or Facebook if makeup services are unavailable for any other days or times.
TRAVEL CHARGES A minimum of four faces applies for any freelance booking. A minimum freelance travel fee of $65.00 applies for the Rockhampton, Yeppoon area. If outside of these areas the standard ATO $/km will be applied. Toll charges & Parking fees may also apply. Touch up services (after the ceremony / before photos) can be added with a $150 per hour fee. Alternatively, an exclusive wedding day rate can be tailored for your needs.
PRICE LIST Bloom Makeup Artistry has the right to change any price at any time without notice to the customer, unless the customer has placed an order at a stipulated price (then the alteration in price is not applicable).When booking any service with Bloom Makeup Artistry, the customer agrees to these prices. A minimum of 5 services for any freelance group travel makeup booking applies.
INVOICE CHANGES Please note that once you have accepted a quote you may add additional makeups but if someone cancels their makeup the total amount owing will still be due. (E.G: Bridal party booking for five people, and retainer fee is paid. Four weeks prior to the booking date, the numbers for makeup change, the amount owing for that invoice will still be required to be paid IN FULL and payment is not transferrable). ADDITIONAL CHARGES Bloom Makeup Artistry has delegated timings for each person, which is emailed when bookings are confirmed. Please note: If, with no fault to Rachel or her team, run behind the scheduled time, there are additional overtime charges of $60 per half hour. This will be added to your invoice.
